چکیده

Abstract Background Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fifth most frequent cancer on world. Fat accumulation within hepatocytes known as hepatic steatosis. In recent years, research has found that people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease have a higher chance of developing HCC. The LI-RADS ® (Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System) was created to facilitate consistent reporting imaging findings in patients at risk aim this study see how fat fraction affects major HCC features magnetic resonance (MRI). Results All HCCs (92/92; 100%) showed arterial phase hyperenhancement (APHE); however, significant association between steatosis late APHE found. Encapsulation observed 51 (55.4%); 17 (37.8%) displayed enhancing capsule delayed study, compared 34 (72.3%) non-steatotic patients. size ranged from 11 200 mm (Mean 42.2 ± 51.8 mm) group; negative 13 205 62.9 54.5 mm). Conclusions Hepatic had absent capsule, enhancement, well lesion less than 50 mm. “Fat sparing solid mass” "non-enhancing capsule" ancillary steatosis, while “mild–moderate T2 hyperintensity” “fat mass, more adjacent liver”

Cardiac and Hepatic T2*-Weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Abstract Background Iron overload is the main transfusion related side effects in patients with transfusion dependent hemoglobinopathies. Severe iron deposition in tissues leads to organ dysfunction. Many organs can be affected such as heart, liver, and endocrine organs. Cardiac failure and liver fibrosis are the consequent of Iron overload in transfusion dependent hemoglobinopathy. Magne...

Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging of focal hepatic nodules in an experimental hepatocellular carcinoma rat model.

RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES We sought to investigate the value of diffusion-weighted MR imaging in evaluating focal hepatic nodules in an experimental hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) rat model. MATERIALS AND METHODS Forty rats with chemically induced primary hepatic nodules ranging pathologically from regenerative nodules (RNs) to dysplastic nodules (DNs) to HCC were examined with diffusion-weigh...

Study of Coincidence of Hoffa’s Fat Pad Associated Injuries in Knee Traumas in Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Background and Objective: Hoffa’s fat pad injuries are often caused by acute direct and indirect trauma and chronic recurrent micro-trauma, and its disorders are associated with other traumas and injuries that have been less paid attention to in radiological studies. Therefore, this study was performed to evaluate the injuries associated with Hoffa’s fat pad injury in knee trauma using the diag...

Magnetic resonance imaging of feline eye

The purpose of this study was to investigate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the normal feline eyeand optic nerves using T1-weighted and T2-weighted images. A total of 6 healthy female domestic short haircats age 2-2.5 years and weighing 3.2 ± 0.4 kg were selected. Magnetic resonance imaging data werecollected using GEMSOW (Philips) at a magnetic field strength of 1.5 T. Dorsal, sagittal, a...
